Diplomatic victory at the second session of the General Assembly of Interpol
At the second session of the General Assembly of the Interpol held in Beijing, Serbia, thanks to our delegation headed by Minister Nebojsa Stefanovic, prevented the accession of an unrecognized republic to Kosovo Interpol. Minister Stefanovic said that the position of Serbia regarding the membership in this organization is clear – only sovereign states and member states of the United Nations can apply for membership in Interpol.
The Center for Security, Investigation and Defense DBA believes that this is a great victory of diplomacy and that undoubtedly the right delegation has defended the interests of Serbia. We also believe that every aspect of security cooperation with the Republic of China and within the Interpol is of great importance for our country.
